Create your profile in www.Governmentjobs.com for easy application submission. A separate application form is needed for each vacancy you are interested in.
- Application Review
Your application will be reviewed by the HR Talent Acquisition Coordinator and the hiring department once the posting closes. The only exception is “open until filled” positions, which are reviewed on a weekly basis.
- Application Status
Notification is sent to applicants detailing their current application status. We want to meet with you ASAP but do ask for a total of 15 business days to notify you of your current application status. NOTE: If you have not received notification within this time frame, please contact DSarey@brokenarrowok.gov.
- Interview
At this time, selected candidates will meet with members from the hiring department to complete required skills testing and/or complete an interview. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about us, and for us to learn more about you!
- Pre-Employment
If you're selected, you will receive an electronic contingent offer letter through your GovernmentJobs account. After signing, the City begins required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug/physical testing.
- HIRED!
Once you’ve cleared pre-employment, HR will notify you, and your hiring manager will contact you to set a start date. On your first day, you’ll complete onboarding and begin your employment with the City.
