With Zero Card, employees enrolled in the medical plan can receive many services for $0 including:

Standard Plan

Retirement

The City offer two retirement plans. OMRF 401(a) City contributes 10% automatically (no match required), fully vested at 7 years, employee voluntary post-tax contributions available. MissionSquare – 457 Plan pre-tax or Roth, employee contributions only.

Flexible Spending Accounts – Surency

Employees can participate in three types of accounts: Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Premium Only Plan (pre-tax insurance premiums).

Supplemental Benefits – Colonial Life

Employees may customize coverage with: Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity insurance. Each plan pays lump-sum benefits directly to you.

Holiday Pay

City of Broken Arrow employees receive 13 paid holidays each year. Holiday leave is treated as paid leave, but it does not count as hours worked for FLSA purposes. Animal Control, Dispatch, and union employees receive holiday pay under a different pay structure.

Vacation Pay

Regular full-time, non-union employees accrue vacation after completing six months of service: At six months: 40 hours of vacation granted. Afterward: Vacation accrues monthly and increases at years 5, 10, 15, and 20 of service.

Sick Leave

Full-time, non-union employees accrue 8 hours of sick leave per month, beginning after the first full month of employment. Maximum accumulation: 1,040 hours.
