Swim Pool Supervisor

Now Hiring $18.78 - $19.1

The Swim Pool Supervisor is responsible for the overall management, safety, and daily operations of the swimming pool facility. This role provides leadership to aquatics staff while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participates in hiring, recruitment, and orientation of seasonal staff
  • Prepares staff work schedules and ensures accurate time and payroll attendance
  • Conducts staff meetings, evaluations, in-service training, and corrective action when needed
  • Maintains an accessible presence at pool sites and responds to patron complaints within 24 hours
  • Logs and reports all incidents, complaints, and critical issues involving staff or patrons
  • Ensures pool maintenance is properly documented, reported, and resolved
  • Requisitions supplies and equipment as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience sufficient to understand principles relevant to pool operations (typically 1–2 years in a related or similar position)
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license (or ability to readily obtain)

Lead Lifeguard

Now Hiring $15.82 - $16.09

The Lead Lifeguard plays a critical role in supervising daily pool operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance at our facilities.

This position is ideal for experienced lifeguards ready to take on added responsibility and help lead the aquatics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs active surveillance of staff and patrons
  • Enforces all facility policies and ensures compliance with Tulsa City-County Health Department regulations
  • Assigns and oversees opening and closing duties (equipment setup, restroom cleaning, trash removal, pool vacuuming, chemical balance monitoring)
  • Responds quickly and effectively to emergencies
  • Conducts daily facility inspections and reports unsafe conditions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding & First Aid certification (or equivalent)
  • Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification (or equivalent)
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license (or ability to readily obtain)


Lifeguard

Now Hiring $14.80 - $15.05

Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all pool patrons. This role is essential to ensuring the safety of our community while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs active surveillance of patrons in the swimming pool facility
  • Recognizes emergencies and responds quickly and effectively
  • Enforces all swimming pool facility policies, rules, and regulations
  • Performs opening and closing duties (equipment setup, restroom cleaning, trash removal, pool vacuuming)
  • Assists patrons in a friendly and professional manner without compromising surveillance duties

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding & First Aid certification (or equivalent)
  • Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification (or equivalent)
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license (or ability to readily obtain)

Swimming Pool Cashier/Concessions & Slide Attendant

The Swimming Pool Cashier / Concessions & Slide Attendant plays a key role in guest service and daily operations at our aquatic's facilities. This position supports admissions, food service, and slide safety while ensuring every guest has an enjoyable visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizes a computer-based Point of Sale (POS) system for admissions and concession sales
  • Accepts payments (cash, debit, and credit cards) and makes accurate change
  • Prepares food items such as hot dogs, packaged foods, ice cream dishes, and fountain drinks
  • Cleans and sanitizes work surfaces and equipment
  • Stocks and restocks concession items as needed
  • Maintains a safe environment around pool slides and surrounding areas
  • Monitors slide access and enforce height requirements
  • Scans the catch pool to ensure swimmers are safely clear of the slide exit

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level
  • Possession of (or ability to obtain) a current Tulsa County Health Department Food Handler Permit
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license (or ability to readily obtain)
